Over the years, I’ve posted now-and-then about the ESL Video site, and have had my students use it.
For some reason, in the midst of the chaos of teaching, it fell off my radar, and I recently remembered and checked it out.
It is an excellent site!
Students can watch videos and answer comprehension and cloze questions. Even better, they don’t actually have to sign-in and register. All teachers have to do is create a password to a virtual class, and the scores are delivered to the teacher’s account.
And, it’s all free!
They have also added a premium AI-powered chatbot service if you want it.
I’m certainly adding it to my list of key sites at THERE ARE TONS OF RESOURCES ON THIS BLOG TO HELP EDUCATORS TEACH ELLS – THIS POST IS A GOOD PLACE TO START.
