Philadelphia Museum of Art: Let out your inner Rocky and ascend the iconic steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. This amazing museum is the home to a vast collection of art from different continents, offering a journey through centuries of human creativity. From ancient artifacts to contemporary masterpieces, each gallery reveals a new chapter in the story of artistic expression. Don’t forget to strike a pose with the bronze statue of Rocky Balboa at the foot of the steps!

Reading Terminal Market: The Reading Terminal Market is a culinary heaven where flavors from every corner of the globe converge. In this gastronomic paradise that I already told you about before, you can have a taste of the famous Philly cheesesteak or explore the market’s diverse array of international cuisines, artisanal goods, and farm-fresh produce. They even have tortilla de patatas, jamón serrano and many other Spanish dishes!

Longwood Gardens: This amazing gardens are not exactly in Philadelphia, they are located near the city, but they are so beautiful that they could not be out of my list. Longwood Gardens are a botanical wonderland, with lush landscapes, gorgeous flower displays, and enchanting conservatories. The vegetation and cascading fountains will make you feel a sense of beauty and serenity.

LOVE Park and Sculpture: Feel the love in the air as you stroll through LOVE Park, home to the iconic LOVE sculpture by artist Robert Indiana. Take a selfie with this well-known symbol of affection and just enjoy the vibe!

Italian Market: If you like pasta, cheese, pizza, and Italian food in general, this is for you. Dive into the heart of South Philly at the Italian Market, where aromas of fresh pasta, savory cheeses, and aromatic spices fill the air. Walk through the colorful stalls, enjoying the sights and sounds of this historic market that has been a culinary hub for generations.

Chinatown: For those who adore sushi and are fascinated by Chinese culture like myself, step into the lively streets of Chinatown. Here the aroma of authentic asiatic cuisine fills the air. Walk through bustling markets and taste traditional dishes, specially on February 10th 2024, Chinese New Year!

City Hall: Marvel Philadelphia’s iconic City Hall, an architectural masterpiece that dominates the city skyline. I really recommend if you admire this historical building. Philadelphia’s City Hall has definitely stolen a part of my heart, this is the most beautiful city hall I have ever seen.

Independence Blue Cross Riverbank: Find peace and serenity by the Schuylkill River at Independence Blue Cross Riverbank, a calm getaway amidst the city’s busy streets. Take a leisurely walk along the riverbank, enjoy stunning views of the city skyline, and embrace the tranquility of this secret spot.

Mütter Museum: This might not be for everybody, but as a Biomedical Engineering student, it had to be on my list. If you go to the Mütter Museum, you will explore the intriguing world of medical history and human anatomy. Here, you’ll find a collection of medical artifacts, anatomical specimens, and curiosities from past eras. From ancient surgical tools to preserved body parts, each has its own story to tell.
